about Us
Our goalAs collectors, we know how hard it is to find good boxes to display our vintage figures, most of us were kids when transformers were launched in 1984 and most of us had no idea we would carry them on as collectables to the new millenia, so first thing that got lost over time were the boxes.
That nostalgia feeling you get from displaying that character you loved over 30 years ago sure works a lot better with the original packing, but nowadays boxes on eBay often sell higher than figures itself and that's where we came up with a solution! Sick & tired of paying large lumps of money all arround the world for that grail box with no rips & tears that could easily get damaged on shipping, i decided to take matters into my own hands and started redrawing from scratch every box i could get my hand on, to create new, undamaged, uncreased, glossy, specimens of those hard to find boxes for me & my friends. Eventually people outside our circle asked us if we could help them as well, and that's how we created boxformers. |
Processing, Printing, Handling & ShippingWe operate boxformers from Portugal, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:00 (GMT 0).
We don't hold any stock, everything produced after the payment clears. Orders are sent to production on Saturdays, if an order is placed on a Monday it will only be processed the next Saturday. The printing process takes about 7 days; cutting, assembling, gluing, etc takes another 2 to 3 days depending on order volume. We always ship using a traceable method, usually using CTT. If you need a tracking number please contact us as the system does not provide tracking numbers automatically. Transit times vary a lot, depending on size, weight & final destination; CTT claims 7 to 10 days to Europe, North America 10 to 14 days. For other parts of the world please contact us for a more accurate transit time. Boxformers is run as a hobby, by 2 friends, who love Transformers, and we do this while having full time jobs. This is a handmade process that takes time, if you're unwilling to wait a little longer, if a delay occurs (which happens a lot) or not patient enough to see an order go through, maybe our store is not the right place to shop. |
